The sutures used to close a surgical incision may result with a very conspicuous scar. It is hard to get rid of these scars by some creams, laser or other non-invasive methods. I do dermabrasion to these scars first and then apply thin skin graft harvested from thigh region over this raw surface. As you can see on the before after photos, it is possible to turn the suture marks to a less conspicuous scar by this operation. The surgery is done under i.v. sedation and local anesthesia and takes nearly 45 minutes.
